Principals' Message

I’m very much pleased  to get an opportunity to address about my school which leads to produce a generation that is equipped with knowledge, wisdom, good qualities and compassion to the world of tomorrow.

This school was began on 5th September 1985 with the sponsorship of few those who were English educated  , and as a result of the mission of the Buddhist association of Rathnapura. At the beginning there had been 75 students and only 2 teachers. By 2013  it celebrates its 78th anniversary with 1200 students and 60 teachers.

Our school has continuously won the productivity award four times. Since 2006 and the first and the forth places respectively provincial level and national level with the dedication staff students and parents of my school.

It’s a great satisfaction and pleasure in my teaching career to lead this school to produce a good and an efficient citizen in this country.
